The Slab Kitchen is a design that adds an incredible amount of modern versatility to a kitchen. It provides a beautiful fresh appeal to a room, and reflects light at every opportunity giving a more open, spacious feel to the room.
The slab door is made from 22mm HDF with an oak or walnut veneer if looking for a grain showing finish, or straight 22mm HDF sanded down to create a flat finish. Available in either an exposed timber finish or a painted finish that can be colour matched to any colour of your choice.
With the opportunity to go completely handle-less, the Slab kitchen style will completely transform a room. Round handle cut-outs are a beautiful minimalist design, whilst the handle-less design offers a completely distraction free solution to the kitchen. The addition of contemporary handles or a classic pewter handle demonstrates that there really is no limit to the ways you can bring a Slab kitchen to life.
We designed the Kensington Kitchen in collaboration with the 2LG studio. Using the slab style door with the new Kensington handle, this kitchen is incredibly sleek and minimalist and really shows off the beauty and quality of an 80/20 Kitchen. The slab style is perfect for this contemporary space, and really helps to keep the space feeling fresh and clean.
We created three different units for this space- a wall unit, an island with an incredible curved shelving unit and a free-standing base unit. The units have a grain finish, which adds a beautiful texture to the kitchen. By having these units free standing allows for an easy walkway around the pod, leaving ample space for working at the island.
